How many students are in a class?

To provide students with personalised learning as well as the benefits of group discussion, classes are limited to 15 attendees. With multiple classes running at once, every enrolled student will always have a tutor-led class to attend.

Does it matter what year of study the student is currently in?

No - by not allocating time to practical performances and coursework investigations, our Group Class programmes can deliver 2-years of exam content over 44 weeks. With exam question practice embedded throughout, both first and second-year students will be able to learn and revise any examined content from their course in 44 weeks. Students we work with for their full 2-year course will have in fact covered the specification three times. Once over 2 years in school, and twice more throughout their Group Class programme.

Where can students find the lesson topics for upcoming classes?

First-time students can see the content schedule on the second page of the booking process after they select their specification below. Once enrolled, every student will then be sent the year calendar they can store at home or print off.

What software and technology does a student require to connect to their group class?

An internet connection and a laptop/PC/Tablet with a built-in webcam and microphone is the most common set-up used.

What are the dates of the Group Class programme?

The 2020/21 Group Class Programme will run for 44 weeks starting Monday 31st August 2020 and finish

Sunday 4th July 2021.

Can a student trial a group class before enrolling?

Yes - the monthly member option contains a 14-day trial period, during which time the student has full access to all the usual features to try out. The monthly member option also has a cancel anytime policy. One email to us and we will stop your access and payment from the end of that month.

How can a student watch Group Class replays?

Once enrolled, students will be given access to the online replay library. Annual members can access every replay from the 44-week program anytime, monthly members can access every replay from the 44-week program all while enrolled and single seat students will receive online access to the group class replay they attended.

Do students have access to any of the teaching material used?

Yes - alongside the video replays, students will also be able to view any presentations or activities used during the session. Where appropriate, students will also receive activity sheets and knowledge organisers to support their note-taking and learning.
